Paris: Its History and Art
This study day is designed for anyone with an interest in Paris, its history and its art and architecture.
We will begin with a survey of the city’s history from its beginnings until 1940. The remainder of our day will be spent looking at images of Paris (prints as well as paintings including manuscript illuminations) from the 1300s through to the early 1900s.
