Description

This course is part of  Dillington Discoveries Summer week.

Learn the secrets behind working with more than one colour with three very different techniques. On this workshop we will look at the traditional method of Fair Isle knitting, and we will practice stranding and weaving yarns with both hands! The technique of Intarsia, the more abstract method of knitting, and Slip stitch work, where two colours are used to great effect. We will work up small swatches of each method during the workshop – whilst discussing the use of colour and covering essential tips to improve the overall finish of your work.

Suitable for those who can knit and purl.

Includes materials.
