Book of Hours: Pop-up Book Workshop – COURSE FULL
Description
Brightly coloured and decorated Books of Hours were popular in the Middle Ages and as a result, they are the most common type of surviving medieval illuminated manuscript. On this workshop we will make a pop-up version of one, imagining what it would be like if medieval scribes had paper engineering techniques available to them.
Ideal for anyone interested in paper craft, pop up paper engineering and paper sculpture. A workshop for the experienced paper engineer and beginner alike.
Residential Fees From: £417. Non Residential: £285
Course runs from Lunch on Tuesday to Lunch on Thursday.
