Description

In a time of worldly conflict and struggle, we need what poetry offers more than ever – words to express the inexpressible, heal the heart and inspire the human spirit.

This will be an uplifting workshop, where we will read some of the best contemporary poetry, and write our own, experimenting with exciting prompts, forms and examples. Poetry is not for the few but the many; it is a way of celebrating and affirming life in all its particulars, and honouring all aspects of our experience.
