Description

After the excess of the festive period treat your mind and body to some soothing yoga to help you start the year in a healthy way.
Ease into the day gently with calming pranayama (breathing exercises) and warm up stretches, to get the body ready for some classic hatha yoga poses to revitalise the body and boost energy levels. The morning will incorporate poses to loosen tense hips, backs and shoulders and unravel tight knots within the body. Twisting poses will help stimulate the liver and gentle backbends will open up the chest to aid the immune system.
After lunch we’ll use a combination of supported Yin and Restorative yoga poses, which encourage the muscles to gradually release any remaining tension. The workshop will finish with a Yoga Nidra, known as a ‘yogic sleep,’ this guided relaxation will soothe the nervous system.

Suitable for all abilities including beginners, this nurturing yoga day will leave you feeling calm and relaxed, ready to take on the New Year.
