A wonderful opportunity to focus on techniques for introducing local wildlife into your paintings. Hares, badgers, foxes, deer. Creating atmospheric wet into wet backgrounds that set the scene for the introduction of a creature. We will consider composition and scale, some careful drawing and colour mixing, along with suitable brush techniques for different animals.

This course is best suited to those who have some previous experience of watercolour and would like to gain confidence and improve their animal painting skills.

Residential Fees From: £358.   Non Residential: £240.

Course runs from Dinner on Monday to Lunch on Wednesday.

Shari Hills is a member of the Drawn to the Valley group of artists based around the Tamar valley. She regularly exhibits in a variety of galleries, demonstrates for art groups and teaches classes and workshops.
