Description

Who are the Windsor’s, is a question often asked.

1951 was the last full year of the reign of King George V1, 70 years ago. For many our present Queen is the only monarch they have known.

We will look at the history of the family and why they took the name is 1917. Going back to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and their children and grandchildren marrying into the Royal Houses of Europe and the problems it brought.

Plenty of time for discussion and to study books about the subject during the day.
