Mosaic, Chat, Create!
Description
No experience required – create a mosaic “masterpiece” in two days with experienced mosaic tutor, Emma Abel of abelmosaics. With demonstrations and her wildlife mosaics on display, Emma will guide you through the design, technique and creation of your mosaic with lots of tips along the way!
You will be “snap happy” in no time at all!
Materials and tools are provided with a wealth of colours and textures to choose from. We will grout your mosaic at the end.
Tutor information
Emma Abel is a maker of endangered wildlife mosaics to raise awareness. Since 2019, Emma has been shortlisted in Explorers Against Extinction’ global Art initiative, and Runner Up for The Artist Award in 2020. Each sale generates a 10% donation to conservation charities. Largely self-taught, its a great challenge to convey character and movement with glass, slate, ceramic and marble. Each ruffled feather and tuft of fur is cut with precision. Emma loves giving weekly mosaic workshops.
