Description

This course introduces students to the copper foil method of stained glass making. Often referred to as the Tiffany method, after Louis Comfort Tiffany. This method is used to make light-catchers, hanging decorations and the more familiar but detailed Tiffany lampshades.

This workshop will focus on making a selection of festive hanging light-catchers. Students will learn how to follow a design, cut glass accurately and safely, apply copper foil and solder their creation to produce a beautiful piece or pieces that they can hang inside or out in the garden. (Please note that lampshades are not an option)

PLEASE NOTE:– Glass cutting requires a certain amount of strength and mobility in the wrist.

Suitable for beginners and those with experience.
