Description

This weekend course is suitable for anyone wanting a treat their mind and body to some soothing yoga after the excess of the festive period. Get into a peaceful mood on Friday evening with a Yoga Nidra: a guided relaxation which helps to calm the mind and soothe the nervous system, so you’re ready for a good night sleep. Saturday’s practice will start gently with calming pranayama (breathing exercises) and warm up stretches, to get the body ready for some classic hatha yoga poses to revitalise the body and boost energy levels. The morning will incorporate poses to loosen tense hips, backs and shoulders and unravel tight knots within the body. After tea we’ll use a combination of supported Yin and Restorative yoga poses, which encourage the muscles to gradually release any remaining tension. Saturday evening will include meditation and a guided relaxation.
Sunday morning will be a mix of gentle yoga poses, pranayama, mediation and we’ll finish with a guided relaxation before heading off for lunch.
Suitable for all abilities including beginners, this nurturing weekend will leave you feeling calm, relaxed and revitalised.

Residential Fees From: £348.   Non Residential: £233
