Description

This lovely pouch is put together using a collage of different fabrics, and then embellished with hand embroidery. A variety of stitches will be used, and could include sequins, small buttons, beads and metallic thread.

There will be a printed linen fabric of Hares for you to purchase (£1.00) if you wish to include this in your piece of work. You may, of course decide to make the completed embroidery into a picture or book cover etc.

This course is suitable for all abilities.

Residential Fees From: £395.   Non Residential: £265

Course runs from Dinner on Tuesday to Lunch on Thursday.

Tutor information

Annette Bolton studied City and Guilds in a variety of subjects covering beading, hand and machine embroidery, Stumpwork, mixed media and design.  She has been teaching for over 25 years including City and Guilds in Stumpwork. She has a great passion for her subject, a regular contributor to stitching and beading magazines, as well as being a registered tutor for the learning curve at Alexandra Palace and the Great British Bead Show.
