Disney at 100 – Singing Workshop
Walt Disney transformed the world of entertainment, charming young and old alike with his fantastical stories, whimsical characters and catchy tunes. In it’s centenary year, let’s celebrate Disney’s extraordinary musical legacy through a medley of favourites spanning it’s history.
With so many great songs to choose from it’s hard to know what to leave out, but we’re sure to recognise the tunes and have an uplifting time singing together in this fun, accessible group-singing workshop. There’ll be some harmony singing but you don’t need to read music notation as we’ll be using lyric sheets to learn our parts by listening and singing back.
Jo Sercombe is a fantastic motivational educator, vocal coach and musical director who is loves making singing accessible to all. Alongside her role as Senior Lecturer in Singing & Musical Theatre at Bath Spa University, she travels the country leading singing workshops with community choirs, businesses, and in education.
She founded and directs Bath Community Gospel Choir and creates original music with Young Carers as a workshop leader for Bath Philharmonia’s Education Team. Jo also enjoys her role as President of Priston Music Festival.
