Description

Come and explore the glorious effects produced by dyeing, crumpling, colouring, manipulating, cutting, rearranging and weaving paper to create unique decorative sheets for use in bookbinding and other crafts. We’ll spend time seeing how spirit and water based dyes can be used, layering and overlaying colour and texture, and experiment with Paste-papers, progressing to repeating patterns successfully. We will look at ways of using our created papers for bookbinding.

This course is suitable for all levels, no experience necessary, just a sense of adventure!

This course would be suitable for anyone interested in creating decorative papers for use in bookbinding, crafts or as standalone unique pieces, who enjoys experimenting and playing with colour, form and texture and doesn’t mind getting messy!

Residential Fees From: £450.   Non Residential: £326

Course runs from Lunch on Monday to Tea on Wednesday.
