The Age of Discovery Series
Mike Shaw was presenting a well-attended series on the History of Europe when lockdown was first imposed. We hope to restart that series which had reached the beginning of the Modern Age c1500 at the earliest opportunity when conditions permit.
In the interim Mike has offered us access to a series of lectures he recorded some years ago on the Age of Discovery. These were based on a previous Dillington series delivered in 2011-12 and subsequently condensed to consolidate lectures he has delivered on numerous cruise engagements.
The series comprises four core lectures each of about half an hour, which are drawn together in a fifth lecture titled ‘The Sleepwalkers’. Each lecture can be booked separately and watched at your leisure.
