Dr John Kirkaldy

As a university lecturer, John spent forty years urging students to make the most of a gap year. At 18 he did the world’s worst – working as an accountant in the City of London. On becoming semi -retired John decided to go around the world and prove that 70 year-olds still have it in them!

John’s lecture will cover many of his adventures from the champion omelette maker of Jodphur, surviving a bungee jump in New Zealand and insights into art galleries visited on his trip.

Includes lunch. Lunch is served from 1pm and lecture begins at 2pm.
