– Head Chef –
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a new head chef to join our team at Dillington House, transforming the food offering and gaining recognition for your achievements. Dillington House is a historic building within a beautiful setting and a top location for adult education courses, conferences and business meetings, as well as a stunning venue for weddings and social events. It’s famous for its excellent and generous homestyle cooking. All food is prepared and cooked on the premises using local, seasonal produce and features a wide range of culinary styles to please both conference and wedding guests.
We are looking for an exceptional, experienced Head Chef to manage and guide a new team that will transform the food offering to the diverse range of customers and guests that stay and visit Dillington House.
You will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Delivering high volumes of excellent food.
- Menu development with excellent control of Gross profit and pricing.
- Be aware of industry trends and regularly change the menus with seasonality of produce in mind.
- Manage and be responsible for rotating the team and controlling budgeted staff costs.
- Maintain EHO standards at all times.
- Show creative approach to your craft and have the passion and drive to gain accolades through delivering high standards of food.
Some weekend and evening work will be required.
The salary for the role is £33,183 to £36,481 per annum inclusive of a £11,000 recruitment allowance for up to 3 years

– Events Assistant –
We are looking to appoint an Events Assistant to work within our busy and hardworking Events team.
The post holder will administer event enquiries and bookings received by email or telephone and ensure they are dealt with in a welcoming and professional manner. You will work closely with the Senior Events Co-ordinators over venue availability and customer needs.
Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be required to greet customers on arrival. You will also provide support at events when required, which will require occasional evening and weekend working.
Grade 15 – £18,887 – £19,264
Full time – 37 hours a week

– Food and Beverage Team Leader –
As Food & Beverage Team Leader you will be working closely with the Operations Manager and assist in the smooth running of the Food and Beverage operation ensuring high standards of service are always delivered.
You will be acting as duty manager on shift which means you will be responsible for the Food and Beverage delivery and customer safety.
You will work to a rota which changes weekly and will cover the period when you are needed to best cover the business needs.
- Taking charge and being responsible for the Food and Beverage department in the absence of the Operations Manager.
- Ensuring correct staffing levels at all times with accurate scheduling and forecasting prepared in a timely manner and reviewed with the Operations Manager
- Ensure all guests receive a positive experience with emphasis on driving repeat guests.
- Taking ownership of the different service areas through progressive communications whilst creating a healthy and energetic working environment
What you’ll need:
- Previous experience in a Supervisory capacity in a similar style of operation.
- Good knowledge of food, fine wine. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Lead by example and be flexible and adaptable
- Have an excellent eye for detail
- Have excellent knowledge of Outlook and preferably Guestline PMS
- Be highly organized with an efficient approach. At all times you will be expected to provide excellent hospitality to both internal and external guests.
£19,264 – £20,043 per annum

– Casual Housekeeping and Front of House Team Members –
Your range of duties will include food and bar service, attending to needs of customers, and general cleaning.
We are looking for a team members with the following experience:
- A can -do attitude.
- The ability to work well both on their own and as part of a team.
- Takes pride in their work.
- Previous experience of working within the hospitality industry.
The role will involve working evenings and weekends.
